All the furniture and objects in our collection, as well as our custom-made pieces, are produced in our workshop located in Piraeus. Our workshop has a long history in woodworking and specialized constructions, having worked for many years on furnishing homes, stores, and boats. Giorgos Ridakis, Founder of Dgrids (Design by G.RiDakiS), began his studies in the Automation Department at the University of West Attica. His passion for design soon led him to pursue Industrial Design at Middlesex University in London, from which he graduated with First-Class Honours in 2010.<\/p>\n

His involvement in the family business, where he worked consistently throughout his studies, allowed him to gain hands-on experience with the real needs of the market, as well as the properties of materials and construction techniques, adding practical expertise to his academic knowledge. Since 2007, he has been the owner of the business, which he continues to develop and expand.<\/p>\n

Vivian Koni began her studies in the Civil Engineering Department at the University of West Attica while simultaneously studying Interior Architecture and Decoration at Akto, from which she graduated in 2010. She continued her education in design and visual communication, graduating from Middlesex University with First-Class Honours in Interior Architecture.<\/p>\n

In 2011, she joined the Dgrids team, taking charge of project management and the company\u2019s design department.<\/p>\n

Alexandros Papadimitriou grew up in Igoumenitsa, Thesprotia, in a family-run traditional carpentry workshop. From a young age, he showed a strong interest in construction, which later led him to explore woodcarving.<\/p>\n

In 2004, he began his studies in Accounting at the Technological Educational Institute of Western Macedonia in Kozani. After completing his studies, he returned to the family business until 2021, when he moved to Piraeus in search of new knowledge and experience in modern furniture design. Since then, he has been part of the Dgrids team.<\/p>\n

Ares Minasian grew up in Athens and has extensive experience in the tourism sectors, where he developed strong skills in organization, teamwork, and responsibility.<\/p>\n

His natural inclination toward construction and interest in woodworking led him to join our team, where he works as an assistant furniture maker. With a strong willingness to learn, professionalism, and reliability, he contributes significantly to the daily operations of the company and the successful completion of our projects.<\/p>\n

Vasso Kleftogianni began her studies in 2006 at Akto in Interior Architecture and Decoration, graduating in 2009 with a Diploma of Higher Education in Interior Design from Middlesex University of London.<\/p>\n

In 2011, she moved to Germany, where she also worked as an independent artist specializing in digital art. In 2017, she continued her studies in furniture design and construction, graduating in 2020 from Business College Bergisch Gladbach, Germany, with a degree in Furniture Design and Carpentry. She joined the Dgrids team in October 2020.<\/p>\n

Dgrids welcomes Sofia Tsakiridou to our team. With extensive experience in retail and expertise in marketing, product promotion, and competitive management, she has held key positions in major companies, gaining deep knowledge of the commercial environment and communication strategies.<\/p>\n

In addition, she has completed studies in Maritime Studies and specialized in Digital Marketing, combining organizational thinking and analytical skills with creativity and expertise in the digital era.<\/p>\n

Panagiotis Karagiannis is an experienced furniture maker, specializing in custom constructions with a primary focus on kitchen furniture. He studied at the Carpentry and Furniture Making Department of Sivitanidios School, as well as at Skive College in Denmark.<\/p>\n

With 27 years of experience in the construction industry, he has developed deep expertise and a high level of craftsmanship in designing and creating furniture that combines aesthetic appeal with functionality.<\/p>\n

Since 2022, he has been a member of the Dgrids team, contributing his experience and passion for wood and furniture-making.<\/p>\n
